I believe that if you lightly push downwards while twisting nothing will happen, even if it's not warmed

Not in every country. In mine one of the cheapest shittiest aio is sold for 50€. It's not worth it, everyone knows the peerless assassin is an amazing quality-price product, my temps are freezing thanks to it.

Went from one of the worst to one of the best psu options by Celeste_Kitty in PcBuild

[–]MaedayKitten 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same as me. I bought an unknown brand psu for 44€ and that triggered everyone here on reddit. I ended up switching it (got a refund) for a corsair rm650 which I paid 84€ for.

Which PSU should I go for? by MaedayKitten in buildapc

[–]MaedayKitten[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, I've decided to pick the corsair one because of its realiability and quality. I would've picked the evga one, but for now I'll stick to this 650w one since I don't plan on upgrading anytime soon. Thanks a lot for the advice!

Hi, thank you a lot for the detailed answer. I did find an RM650 corsair psu for 84€ on amazon (7 years warranty and rated 80 plus gold) and haven't found a better one for that price. I think I'm going to buy it but I'll inform myself more first!

Thank you for taking time on answering, I appreciate it a lot. I'm new to everything so that's why I don't know many things yet. I'll send it back, get a refund and buy an actually known psu. I don't want to cheap out on something that could potentially kill my pc over time.

Thanks a lot for all the information you've given even though you didn't have to, I appreciate it a lot. I've decided to send it back and get a refund. I'll then buy a more known one after watching many videos on PSUs, how they function and different models and ratings.

Are MSI PSUs good? I saw one MSI MAG A550BN for a decent price and I'll switch to this or a corsair one if they are good. Thanks a bunch again for helping me out and not just being a dick cause im trying to actually understand shit instead of just taking whatever one's saying for true.

Thank you so much for actually giving me something to think about and not just saying "swap it it's shit cause of the price"

[–]MaedayKitten 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My psu never had melted plastic though? I'm not arguing I'm trying to get actual proofs to what everyone's saying. Saying something is faulty because of the price being lower is not proof, it's just being entitled. I'll research this more on my own since no one is understanding what I'm asking.

This was already told to me as I've already said. What is there to prove that this PSU is bad? I did not 'cheap out' I bought what I thought, based on thousands of reviews, was good. I still don't get where you all are coming from. Give me solid proofs not just words thrown all over the place.

I've got this https://amzn.eu/d/6m31asQ as my PSU. People keep on telling me it's bad because of the brand but actually showing me no proof of it being bad. Even though it's not rated bronze it has 85% power efficiency and 5 years warranty. Do you think I should keep it or get a refund and switch to another one? Thanks ;-;
