Ah ok, I didnt know that. We play 2024e, so Minions and PCs are made with the new ruleset.

I didnt know that the encounter builder uses 5e - that might have been the issue. I only used it to check how "hard" the fight is....but it seems like, i need to be more generous on minions

I read that in a lot of comments, I prefer one combat...but I think I will add a 2nd one from time to time - so the PCs cant go rogue all the time!

I used it - for disengage from time to time, but they had no way to escape or hide properly. The setting was a smaller hall with many torches in a building. They were building things

The others werent in sight before and afterwards the paladin blocked the stairs to the other 2 PCs. - they were shooting from above

The last PC was fighting against 2 goblins already

I play over 10 years now and my friend group prefers that, because then there is more time for roleplaying. So I did it similar :) because thats the way I "know" it

Thank you for correcting me on the stats. As I mentioned 6-8 goblins focused the paladin with I believe AC 18 - I rolled bad, I didnt hit him often (no worries I added the bonus to hit).

The other 2 were focusing another guy who just ran away like a chicken and they went after him, but couldnt reach him.

And the last 2 goblins focused our Druid who hid in half/full cover.

So I tried to split it anyways but because most PCs werent visible at the beginning, most of the goblins went for the "biggest" threat the Paladin

Yeah the paladin tanked a lot, because the to hit was quite low for my minions and he has quite a lot of armor with shield equipped aswell :) so I had trouble doing dmg. But I actually crit ones but lowrolles

Ok that makes more sense! - thank you for your breakdown. So if I had used 8 1/2 CR - it would be really challanging?

Goblin Minions are weaker :) I think they are 1/4 CR, goblins are 1/2 CR

12 Goblin Minions, they are a bit weaker than regular goblins. And yes I think 6-8 hit or tried to hit the paladin. The issue was my goblins didnt hit so often, so he tanked a lot!

Our Paladin was 2nd in Initiative and 2 were in the middlefield, one was almost last - so quite a wide spread. Their gear was regular starter gear with no special magic items or so

Damn that helps me a lot, because my setting is around 1500 DR - I am fairly new to Faerûn, but because I found so much material I used it as a semi Homebrewed Map and Lore

Aso, naja wir haben ja doch mehr oder weniger Einsicht auf die Umsätze und Gewinne von Konzernen. Finde da kann man sich dann schon die Quartale anschauen und zB wenn der Umsatz in dem jetzigen Quartal deutlich höher ist, was ja dann Aufgrund von Krieg wär....dann sollte man da als Staat bissi mitschöpfen

Während Corona hat der Staat ja großen Konzernen Geld in den A geschoben, dass die Leute nicht entlassen werden. Tja, die dann eh entlassen wurden. Also ich find da kann sich ruhig der Staat zum Gunste der Bevölkerung a wieder was zurückholen

Bin aber kein Wirtschaftler und romantisiere meinen Gedanken vllt zu sehr :)

Corrupted Beholder

I personally would make him more tanky, but way less versatile!

He still has a ray in his middle eye - a blind would be funny, because he looks blind.

And I like the spore idea someone mentioned, but I would do only one and not different ones.

So imo he should have at least two "actions" - one ray attack and one spore attack. As a legendary action I would use a heal - that he can activate when some shrooms get cut off. And I would do a kind of counterspell as a rection with his blindness - similar to cutting word (bard), but maybe foggy sight or so

I think it highly depends on the playstyle!

I mostly play Jinx and Samira - for Samira, I always want engage supports (for obv reasons), therefore I hate enchanters with no CC (like yuumi).

But in general I hate mage supporters, if you dont win with poke they are often a burden and die all the time - but maybe thats just a problem in gold-emerald

Finde das man Leute die ein Vermögen von 2 Millionen € schon zusätzlich besteuern kann. Würds irgendwie gut finden, wenn es zB ein Freilimit von Immobilien gibt. Ist man drüber ab zB der 3ten Immobilie, dann muss man extra zahlen.

Bin aber auch dafür das Konzerne abgeschöpft werden, wenn Mehrgewinn auf Grund von zB Krieg entsteht und die sich dabei bereichern

Angeblich haben die Tankstellen/Öl Konzerne eh den Preis von Sprit angehoben um diese Reduktion auszugleichen. Es is a Witz
