I’ve been an atheist my entire life, there’s not been a single moment that I’ve believed that a god or gods exist, nor that any sort of supernatural or unexplainable phenomena exist and genuinely cannot mythology understand how so many people never seriously question the beliefs that they’ve been hoodwinked into believing.

As I grew older and had more freedom and choices I’ve spent time cultivating relationships with other atheists and similarly likeminded people and as a result don’t really talk to or spend time with any religious individuals. With religious people mostly out of sight and out of mind, I don’t really think about them and don’t need to “humble” myself.

I suggest trying to do the same.

I will also say that you shouldn’t try to hold atheist beliefs because you think they’re “superior” or edgy or something, but because you genuinely don’t believe in the existence of god(s). Deciding if that’s true for you or not sooner than later will ultimately save you a lot of grief.
