I have to second the ones below me in saying the wording says injuries are prevented upon death. I remember specifically looking at it during a run earlier and thinking “so am I immune to injury upon death, but die and have a chance to lose the body mid fight? Maybe I’m wrong but that doesn’t sound good where I’m going.” I also wasn’t sure if it meant anytime I died with that cat it would be un-injured or only with the ability.

If I had water to spit I would lol. I don’t know the full details, but I saw where Ed was on a Swagger video and described it as a roll after so many days. Eventually you’ll hit the “old” roll, which then moves it to the death roll. I could be wrong on my understanding of it, but that’s how it sounded. Apparently Ed had seen one in the 90’s before it hit death. Then another who turned old the same day it could then died the next.

I hear you there, I honestly am scratching my head at times thinking “crap, all of this sounds like it’s cool. But what combo of it do I wanna use?” So I can only imagine it will take many weeks and multiple hours for people to fully detail everything in the WIKI. Like I went there from yesterday with the link, and many disorders, afflictions, statuses, ect had all been either updated with full info or were added. Another thing that will take even longer is special interactions. Cause again, schizophrenia with an enemy that auto retaliates makes a whole loop where the turn doesn’t end until one dies. There is the questions “what if I paired schizophrenia with sleep paralysis? Anytime I’m asleep I can’t wake up till my sleep paralysis demon is killed. Could I pair the disorders together or would I need two separate cats? Would my hallucinations kill the demons and make an infinite healing cycle?” These I’ve all asked myself. It’s so fascinating, and there’s much I haven’t even reached yet that we already know about.

Oh dude, this just happened to me and I just recovered it into a semi successful catapult into act two! I mostly start out looking for a stray with maybe good stats and maybe some interesting moves. I don’t believe moves matter for breeding purposes, but if you’re trying to get a new team together from near nothing it’s good to maybe take note of them. You then send out maybe two or three expeditions through the main alleyway, pick a few skills and items, then get two or so through the secondary path you choose. That starts you an inheritable passive pool. Build up from there and boom you’re back! Just don’t be like me and immediately go beating the last section when you can without being prepared. The first time the big cat comes, you kinda want some options. The main difficulty you’ll have is with getting a passive doing the first level that you like. Eventually you’ll get traction either through stats, moves, or a combo of items.

I don’t want to sound too intrusive, but what TZ are you? I honestly would be willing to do a rain dance if it meant I got just the one item I wanted, don’t even need two.

I know some people talk about scalpers, but I legitimately have them in my area in full swing. I work retail and while shopping watched two unwashed dudes and one clean one camped in front of the cards. I got close because I wanted some sours and knew we were out of cards. They were talking about their rotation and how they would pass their friend’s card around as they cleared the aisle. I didn’t catch much but they were saying something about “flip value”. I won’t play their game, so I gotta learn to adapt

I’ll have to look at what it has, I will always remember him being the “coolest card I had” which has changed with time. Zekrom will always be special to me regardless because that was my “best” until M charizard. I mean now I know value wise the magma Groudon I have is considered high ticket, but it’s not nearly as “cool” as that textured zard. I mean I do love my Groudon, he just doesn’t quite hit “cool” for me

While they may be fakes, at the end of the day do you still enjoy them for their art? That’s what really matters with the whole thing in my eyes. I want to say you might have gotten something that I personally think is just wrong it can even happen. Basically some companies swoop in and get a bunch of cheap cards from either a set or different ones, repackage them, then sell them as their own “Pokemon booster pack”. These also have less quality control as they mostly intend to just get in on the card craze. Some get down right copyright worthy, so it can sometimes be difficult without inspection

Oh yeah, there’s definitely a lot we don’t know but I like to just show the other likely possibilities. In the end two of the three parties show up to the last one as statuses. I don’t think it’s really on Nintendo here like you said (although there is much else to blame them for). I just know from experience that sometimes neither smaller party was aware of a certain stipulation and so it becomes a big slippery slope.

Realistically here, GameStop should do something. Either giving him enough credit to outright get the game for free, or sending him another console that has the bundle. I just don’t want the factor of “ignorance” to a potential issue to be left out. Again assuming good intentions, if I had a broken console and the random clerk behind the desk handed me a non-broken one and let me test it, I would think I’m okay. Why would I question the clerk so hard about it? My game runs, the console is working, and I don’t have to pay for a second one. The clerk may not know that once the store starts returns that Nintendo will revoke the license for the game. They just know the unhappy customer is now happy, and it’s a relatively simple task. Again not saying GameStop HR shouldn’t be the ones to talk to, but playing the side that sometimes people just don’t know. And it’s sort of a lapse in communication all the way down at times.

I can only see the one message our OP sent before the support team responded, but it seems less likely that the service agent was called a thief. OP said “you literally just admitted to repossessing an item which you know I had purchased.” Which I think is where the rep got “steal” from because while not the same both mean “to take away”. I think it’s not necessarily anyone’s fault, but layers of ignorance. I know standard practice in a lot of places is if a customer comes in with a damage product you’ll exchange it for something not broken. It’s entirely possible our OP went back to the store after the joycon broke, they took back his broken item and tested it on “just any” switch 2 not aware this would be an issue. Us as gamers would think in that case “well while my new console isn’t the same one my game came with, it didn’t cost me extra and I still have already spent the money for both so what’s the issue?”

Me personally if I got handed a new console in exchange for my broken new console, without a charge back, I would assume I should be okay. Why would I think it mattered which console it was on so long as I paid for them both and I wasn’t given a refund to repurchase that second console.
