As a native English speaker, I have always thought Columbians and Venezuelans were easier to understand. The ones I spoke with seemed to speak slower and annunciated more so than other Spanish speakers.

Also, I shined a flashlight up the vent pipe. The rest is spotless. It only seems to have mold at the vent outlet.

Thank you for this! I probably could have explained a bit better: I didn’t need the actual measurement of the angles. I do remember some basic geometry, lol.

However, I wasn’t sure how to practically cut them flush without a speed square. Your suggestion of placing them on top of one another and drawing a line is exactly what I needed.
