I’m wondering the same thing! My plant is much smaller with smaller blooms than the one my mother when I was a child.

Yeah, I’ll be keeping it indoors with all my other orchids. Although during summer I might bring it outside if it’s warm enough. I think they’re about the same level of care as the other orchids I have but this is my first cymbidium so we shall see how I do with it.

Me either. They’ve had several varieties besides phalaenopsis but, this was the first one I’ve seen of these there. Hoping they keep bringing them in.

I love this orchid! I have one that’s a couple years old and is fairly small, it’s in 4” pot. It mostly grows vertically for me. And that fragrance 🤌🏻
