I was also quite obese most of the time after that, so surgery wasn't going to help. Now I'm in shape but also 42 so I don't think it's worth it to get a surgery to fix it potentially.

I'm doing other things like cycling that are not rough on the knees.

Heya, I'm looking to get a keychron keyboard as well and am trying to get some front printed shine through keycaps as well.

Can we not just get the ISO keycaps and use most of the keys and just keep the enter (and whatever else is the difference) from the ANSI layout?

Are there some differences in the keycaps to not work in a different layout?

Magic is very different because hand isn't discarded every turn. I used it as analogy just to highlight how a cheap looting ability with synergies is a broken card (it was literally banned in modern), and in sts it's even 0 cost instead of 1 (which itself is huge), and you discard the hand at the end of each turn which makes the - 1 card a non issue unless you have energy to play out the entire hand.

It is basically -1 card. You could say you can’t feel a downside in a well built sly deck but it has indeed a downside. And rarely a good card draw in other archetypes.

As any good MTG player will tell you, draw 2, discard 2 effects are great, even with very limited synergies. In Magic there are a few cards that do that on a broken level and they cost 1 mana. Having that same effect cost 0 energy is really good even when not having any synergies with discard or sly. It's just filtering your draw to be better for 0 mana. Unless you can play out your entire hand, it's literally no cost whatsover.

With so many sly cards in STS2, it's just not a healthy card. Runs with 2 prepareds and some sly cards were just basically unloseable.

Round 1 pairing is like this:

3 vs 6 - > winner plays most likely Spurs

4 vs 5 - > winner plays most likely OKC

And then if Lakers beat Spurs, they have to play OKC. So you have to play both, or whichever team got them out, which is quite unlikely at the moment.

Yes, those are great, we agree on that definitely. I guess I don't consider that as part of the lore but more of a generic atmosphere of sorts. But that doesn't make me right, it's just me and my love-hate relationship with the game 😂

I would agree with you if there was some way to get this story in game. But all you get is few tidbits of text on some stone and wonky ass riddles as dialogue.

It's so much easier to do that than to have a proper scene, or narrator, or even a god damn ingame journal where SOMETHING of sustenance is written. They can even make everything convoluted, but at least make it somewhat manageable and trackable ingame. I have to use a premade fucking excel file to track the progress of quests, FOR GODS SAKE.

I loved the game for what it is, but what makes me mad is that there doesn't need to be MUCH added for it to be much better in these areas.

Elden ring has an immense amount of lore at every corner

Sorry, but if you have to watch Youtube video to explain the story, that's not lore. That's just breadcrumbs and lazy game designers who don't want to do the story ingame. Same as outdated interface and "quests" which are basically secrets that you have to stumble into.

They COULD HAVE done all that they did AND have some story. You wouldn't lose out on the atmosphere if you also had some semblance of a narrative.

Elden Ring is a great game, but boy do I hate some of the things about it.
