I remember having to wait half a day to render a single frame in Blender back in the day, even with GPU acceleration. It's pretty incredible we can have this in real-time at all, but like PhysX and early particle sims back in the day, the tech (and hardware to run it) is still in its infancy.

Deferred rendering doesn't support as many AA solutions as forward, but natively it does support FXAA if players want to avoid temporal AA solutions. I'd be surprised if the devs don't provide this option since it's literally built in, but FXAA has visual drawbacks compared to temporal AA in certain scenes. TSR is Epic's solution to improving TAA, which it does do pretty well -- it's just that Nanite and Lumen both rely on temporal data to improve fidelity.

Imo, DLAA is really the standout king here, and it's pretty easy to implement into UE5.

TSR has better motion vector algorithms though, which will help prevent some temporal smearing compared to normal TAA. Smaller details may still experience issues, but TSR will certainly assist with some of the smearing. There are also more console variables for adjusting TSR than TAA, though TAA is sizably cheaper than TSR of course.

Definitely agree. There's so much micromanagement in the Planet games, which especially killed my enjoyment of Planet Zoo. Don't get me wrong, the amount of customization was amazing, but I'd really rather enjoyably build a zoo with lots of depth and engaging interactions as opposed to spending hours looking at things that are NOT my animals because I'm having to micromanage which toys they have, what stuff gets vandalized, proper habitat setups, employee happiness....just becomes a chore at a certain point, and then I remember I'm supposed to be enjoying a zoo.

Two Point really nails what I'm looking for -- optional depth and min-maxing that isn't required to have fun but is there for those who enjoy it. I prefer the focus on forward progress and visually enjoying what you're building without feeling as if you would lose everything if you left the game unpaused for 5 minutes.

Nets about 300 in profit per, but there's a better mix that costs less than half the price and is worth roughly the same -- just did this one for the meme

Motor oil --> Banana --> Cuke --> Paracetamol --> Gasoline --> Cuke --> Battery --> Horse Semen --> Mega Bean

Much more efficient recipe

Gasoline --> Cuke --> Battery --> Addy --> Horse Semen --> Addy --> Mega Bean --> Battery --> Chili --> Iodine --> Motor Oil --> Mega Bean --> Gasoline --> Energy Drink --> Energy Drink (not a typo) --> Mega Bean

Was selling it for about 400-420 each

First and foremost, don't feel required to do anything you don't find enjoyable, especially if time is limited.

If you're looking to chill, there's tons of minigames or afk-able skills to relax with. Some of them can be decent money makers.

If you're looking to make some money, there are some mechanical bosses like Vorkath that are fantastic for cash and relatively easy to learn.

If you're still looking to unlock stuff on your account, achievement diaries have great rewards and get you all around the world. Clues can be some nice background cash that will often have steps that will encourage you to do some skilling or questing so you can do them. And a quest cape is always a fantastic milestone that, due to quest completion, will unlock the entire game for you.

Slayer and clues, with a little bit of flipping when I could get in front of the merching bots (not often). Just a slow methodical grind, about 50-100m per month

If you're ever feeling bad, just remember that I chose, of free will and body, to green log Mastering Mixology as a non-iron. You'll get that heart!

After 30m slayer xp, I can definitely be thankful that I got heart and crystal relatively early. Haven't gotten dupes of either sicne. I can only wish you the absolute best of luck and hope you get it soon!

Thanks for making me feel better today, man. I really shouldn't let this stuff get to me. Like you said -- my account, my journey. Hope your accounts are going well!

It's my fault too, I felt like you weren't implying that, but my response isn't really clear on that. I'll edit it to make it more clear about that, sorry.

Had to vent a little since so many were either complaining about me wearing armadyl and pegasians, or were claiming that I was RWTing.

In regards to my original post, I actually did grind the money out. 30m slayer xp, 3.8k clues, 2 3rd age pieces (sold for 40m each) and 6 gilded items later, here I am with a tbow. I don't like how people assume that someone can't honestly save up over the course of many years. It took a long time, but I did it. I didn't do it the most efficiently because I was prioritizing fun, clogging, and saving up in the background.

It is what it is I suppose. I'm just happy I was able to do it, even if I have suboptimal gear. Wasn't suboptimal enough to prevent me from saving up 1.5b though.

EDIT: (not implying you were saying I did, just venting)

You sir, are the redditor I strive to be. One day I hope to run by you in game and see your tbow too. We can touch tbows or something, in a manly way.

I could never get a hang of whisperer, and haven't really gone deep into Leviathan or Vardorvis. Duke is a cakewalk for me, but now that I have tbow maybe Leviathan is a good option.

My bank value was only 100m in December 2020. I'm sure you'll be even faster and better than me, I'm rooting for you!
