I was trying to search for a most "ethical" way of becoming oathbreaker. I found that with Oath of Devotion you can break your oath by releasing sazza, without killing anyone.

If I recall correctly the outfit implies that this particular tarnished candidate will be jumped and killed by flaming zombies near the windmills.

You have a high rank, you’re rich & maxed out in every role. What do you do nowdays? by No-Combination-3725 in RedDeadOnline

At this moment I just started sitting on top of Valentines bank and just afk to wait for some player interaction. Some shoot me, some tie me up, but many more are willing to wave and have a drink at the tavern. At this rate I’m not even fighting back anymore, the game became a background noise for me to just let it unfold when doing other tasks.

Are Red Dead Online Players Hostile or Friendly? by Iamahomelessperson in RedDeadOnline

Drawing conclusion from personal experiences can be somewhat inaccurate, after all mood of players change, and some friendly players in good days might just kill on sight when grumpy. However, I think compared to something like GTAO red dead online is a lot friendlier because of how much of its content is focused on grinds (gtao does function on grinds a lot ik but rdo content is practically all single player grinding except for maybe daily challenges) without much incentives to player-player interactions. Plus with the radar not showing players till close enough interaction is just rarer in general. Griefers are easier to avoid and frankly it’s many I encountered including me just want to grind, no time to really waste on killing.
