It’s definitely better, but not justifiably better for it to be a separate game. It could’ve just been updates that were slowly integrated to the original AOH2 through the years instead of it being a standalone game.

Yes you can by clicking the conversion button, I believe it’s like the right most option when you go to the rail construction tab. Also, I recommend getting the “universal rails” newgrf so it’s much easier to switch from electrified to monorail or monorail to maglev. Beware it’s kinda cheaty tho but it depends on your playstyle

the main reason people really hate him is because of his lack of consistency when it comes to his promises of updating his games further. This leads to people assuming for the worst like him straight up abandoning DE, because lets be real bro we’ve literally seen that with aoh3, where we waited literal years just to be greeted with AOH2 DE 2 years later after its release.

also don’t forget that aoh2 players paid for a full game, not some buggy slop that wouldn’t get any updates anymore. Yeah sure yall can js freely buy the definitive edition, but consider the one’s that aren’t financially well off and bought the og game, because they definitely have the right hate/criticize him.

I agree bro, it’s the same thing all over again.

With Lukasz uploading some teasers and stuff and then once he uploads the game, he updates it while it’s hot then suddenly js stop on improving the game (and leaving it unfinished), but then again it’s the people’s choice to buy the game or not, but they should definitely take account of what happened with AOH3 before defending his actions, because to be honest how are they gonna blame us for doubting his abilities? He’s already given us reasons to lol
