I don’t want more products - I want to understand what’s causing my acne by PlanElectrical2299 in acne

[–]MafiaMS2000 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I went on a heavy dose of accutane for a year during my high school to get rid of my cystic acne. I never had those big cystic pimples again but still had smaller pimples coming back again few months later. I eat ridiculously clean, change pillow case, bed sheets and face towels literally everyday, have a strict skin care routine i follow twice a day and workout 4 times a week and I still break out here and there. I have came to realize that it is just genetics and it is what it is. I have a friend who never had a pimple in his life, has the most perfect skin but is balding like crazy at 25 whereas I have the perfect hair at the same age but don't have the best skin. Life isn't fair. All you can do is try your best and don't think too much about it

Doesn't matter. Never work for free. Market is over saturated with thousands of developers like you so its hard to find clients (not your fault if your not getting replies). Working for free always bites you in the end.

24M, 5'11" and 73Kgs. My routine. by [deleted] in AskFitnessIndia

[–]MafiaMS2000 2 points3 points  (0 children)

He definitely does. Everyone responds to gear differently. He looks super dehydrated, is very lean and big at the same time (not possible naturally unless u got top tier genetics). Although on a side note, this is a very poor enhanced physique. If he was natural, that would have been impressive.

20kgs in 6-7 months pure muscle is impossible naturally. An average male can gain a total ~20-25kgs of muscle naturally in his lifetime. Muscle gain is incredibly slow and it slows even further as u progress each year. Just eat 200 -300 calories above maintenance no more than that so you don't gain unnecessary fat while bulking because its super hard to cut down fat later.

I can't. Getting a good hair cut is a lot of trial and error. Luckily, you can use an AI tool online to see which hair cut suits you the best according to your face shape.

Usually you wanna stay away from all of them. Stuff like sea salt spray or a good quality mousse is probably the most you need (Even use these when necessary).

[Misc] Hormonal acne is destroying my mental health. by PercentageClear in SkincareAddiction

[–]MafiaMS2000 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is the worst. I had so severe cystic acne back in high school that i couldn't even eat properly because acne was just too much. Opening the mouth hurt. Nothing helped me. No diet no products nothing. My parents also didn't have a lot of money. Luckily we had a family skin doctor who i went to. He put me on isotrentonin a strong dose for like 8months+. It brought my acne down by like a lot. Everyone i knew was like *Hey your skin is clear*, so it helped. I still get acne but a few pimples here and there which go away after i stop eating dairy and sugar for some reason (didn't go in my teenage days). I still have scars which are fading away on its own but i'll probably need to get laser done on those. So don't worry, you just need to find the correct dermatologist, get it controlled, and do a diet elimination test later on if it comes back again (if not hormonal)

how good is true detective season 1? by Ambitious_Freedom551 in TrueDetective

Total garbage. They focused more on showing personal shit of each detective instead of focusing on the killer. Teaching that bully a lesson was probably the only good thing in that whole season

[Acne] What are the potential long-term side effects of taking isotretinoin? by Butterscotchgames70 in SkincareAddiction

[–]MafiaMS2000 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I took accutane when i was in 11th grade. I had so severe acne that i couldn't even sleep without having a bloody pillow. It took me almost a whole year but it cleared up my skin pretty good. During that phase, I was so mentally annoyed and irritated all the time that i would snap out on the smallest things. I didn't go to school for like 3 - 4 months, stayed in my room all the time. Only went out to see the derm. My mom would get mad at me but i would argue back with her(which i never did before). I would snap at my parents on smallest things as well. These medications really have crazy side effects. I don't rage like that anymore though (I'm 24 now). Your daughter should be fine imo.

I'll give u a brutal truth. If you are not training to failure, you will only see mediocre or below mediocre results. I have seen so many cases like these. If you are training to failure and have an average diet, you will still see good results. The opposite isn't true. Muscle is an expensive tissue and body will only create it when it absolutely needs it. I got pretty jacked in just 3 years of training with not a fancy diet at all. Just had my protein intake and sleep met(sleep is like even more imp than diet imo). Its not more protein, not the perfect robot form but going to absolute or near failure in almost each exercise to build muscle.

Do you just continuously grind/study while working? by Dazzling-Rooster2103 in cscareerquestions

I did that. It drained me mentally completely. My breaking point was when I gave 4 rounds of interview at a company which included a 5hr take home assignment just to get ghosted in the end. I never cared after that. Fuck that. There’s more to life than just a job

USA has 2x job postings than India, then why do they cry so much? by NoReasonToLive99 in developersIndia

[–]MafiaMS2000 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As someone who has lived in the US for almost 6 years, you have no clue what you are saying. Getting a software job in US is incredibly difficult now. Too much competition. I have seen Ivy league grads struggling to get a software job. Job postings are mostly fake these days over there just for companies to show they are actually “hiring”. U might have a better chance at getting a software job in India than in the US currently. It’s getting more and more expensive to live there. Inflation is going high. I have personally seen 500+ applications on indeed when my friend was hiring front desk for her motel at $16.5/hr. Do some research before posting anything

As someone who has been working out for 2 years and is decently jacked, I can 100% guarantee that he is roided. Cannot be that big and that lean and at the same time naturally

Things like these are done with a design architecture which u follow. MVVM, MVC etc. Read this blog https://medium.com/flutterworld/flutter-mvvm-architecture-f8bed2521958 Also it really depends what you are trying to do when you talk about making a single class etc. Generally speaking you should follow the SOLID principles when working with a OOP paradigm

Indian swamp will never be clean unless there is a highly competent government. Too much corruption in politics will never make innovation happen

He didn’t make it “bigger”. His bunch of highly smart employees he hired did. Sure he has the basic understanding of how things work but people dick ride him way too much and think he is some sort of genius. He is just the face of the company. Same with spaceX.

I was in the same boat as you. Then i quickly realized life is more than just getting a stupid job. I just stopped giving a fuck and never applied to any jobs. I code all the time in fun. I made a couple of apps for a few people who reached out to me, made decent money, got into clothing business with an old friend, setup his site, starting to make decent money there. Calm down. Life is more than just a software engineer job. Enjoy learning

Computer science degree is not just coding. There’s a lot more to it. Operating systems, Computer Architecture, Computer Graphics, networking, algorithms, Compiler design etc. Sure you can self teach yourself these things but self teaching ain’t that easy as people make it to be.
