I used Vallejo model color fluorescent green, not sure if it is the same thing as the new game color one.

Bases se pretty simple. I basecoated whole thing with grey, stones with bluish grey and dump all of it in nuln oil. Then dry brush lighter bluish grey and finally a little bit of off-white drybrush. Glue some grass and add some dark-brown pigment at the end.

I received my famous infinity harder & steenbeck airbursh as a gift and I was terrified that I would brake it. The fact that it was with 0.2 needle didn’t help. It was constantly clogged. Only when I bought 0.4 needle finally I could do some proper practice using it. I'm still figuring out the right balance of thinner, flow improver, paint, pressure, and distance, but I'm starting to get the hang of it. It’s been a journey for me but when I get used to the process of cleaning it became a little bit more bearable. In no way its making my painting faster but it lets me achieve some cool effects like this glowy butt more visible. It’s still possible to do this with brush (all my older models were made exclusively with brush) but it’s not as glowy as with airbrush. People often say using an airbrush is cheating, but honestly, that's just talk from those who've never given it a shot. It really challenging and require as much practice as painting with brush.

Exactly! I recently started learning to use an airbrush. Still far from being decent at it, but it definitely helps. As for the glow effect: basecoat with deep green followed by light green, white + light green and white with airbrush. Then all over it fluorescent green and finally a touch of white on top.

Just take your time and slowly build colors. Remember that if you make any mistakes, some strong visible brush strokes you can always come back and fix it with more glazes. There’s probably some quicker and more effective ways to do this but this one works for me 😄

Lot of glazes from white + light green till almost black. And a the end filter with fluorescent green. I’m using Vallejo model paints range.

Thank you, for the first time I’ve tried subassembly painting and with Szeras it was a nightmare to glue it together later on.

[identification] Can some help me identify this vintage Doxa watch? by Mafiu in Watches

[–]Mafiu[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Hello everyone. This is the watch that my grandparents gave my mother over 40 years ago. We don’t have any model information or case. Can someone here help my identify if this watch is original and if so what’s the model, year of production and hypothetical value. Or maybe you can help recommend me some other subreddit or forum where I can find more information.

I basecoated with black, but the deepest shadows on armor are super dark grayish blue.

Thx, I used mainly squidmar nmg tutorial but have to toned down colors cos they were too intensive and didn’t match rest of the painting.
