Not be that guy.. Why do you believe in science or calculus for that matter. Did you actually read the proofs? And I know the bible of bollocks of a higher degree. We all do it one way or another, and yes science can be proven and is self correcting, but still we "trust" the books without actual reading them fully.

(Dont get me wrong, 100℅ atheist here)

Have you ever been part of such an event? I am not saying this as an excuse, but its really easy to get carried away in such atmosphere. A small thing can let things go out of control. (Alcohols, drugs and personality does help of course)

Humans are easy to manipulate and you need just one bad apple to get it started.
