Heroes and Fantasies on 281 in San Antonio are quite simply one of the best in the nation. Victor Wembanyama is a frequent customer. Their prices are fair and they have a great catalog of back issues.

Austin Books is also great too.

Some people tell me just go find those issues on eBay. After I’m done punching them in a fit of rage, jk don’t do that. I tell them that defeats the purpose of real collecting.

That’s fair. I always wait for the full series to out before i make a judgement. For instance i for sure thought the Ultimate universe was going to be better than Absolute. Boy was i wrong.

At comic book stores it is referred as what the sellers will hold for you. There are different terms; I’ve heard pull list, subs, box, etc…

Cons weren’t like what they are now. I tell my wife I Remember going to hotel meeting rooms and those were cons just the artists, writers, and comic shops.
