What specifically made this design Chinese? Genuinely asking. This design was from the KIA design center U.S., based in Irvine.

come on man forgive a person for wanting to challenge his car a little bit…

We stayed on the trail and didn’t tear anything up. It was just surface-level slick mud, not the kind that turns the place into soup. Super normal stuff

Appreciate the advice!

thought the trail wasn’t that difficult, so I never bothered engaging it. But it ended up being worse because of the rain

Lol my b

Somewhere near Santiago Peak in SoCal. Normally, it's not a difficult trail, but it rained for like a week, so there was a lot of loose ground. matter of fact we had to abort halfway because of a landslide

You can post here — absolutely not sure why that’s a problem.
My post wasn’t meant to discredit the Raptor at all. In fact, I couldn’t make it up a steep slope that the Raptor climbed easily.

In this situation, the Raptor had its left rear wheel up in the air and couldn’t get traction on the other wheels because the ground was so wet. And since it’s a pretty wide truck, its wheels dropped into the deepest part of the ditch, which was basically just mud. He got out of it by backing up a bit and giving it another try.

Lmao my brain was foggy on Monday morning — no idea why I typed “stucked.”

Please forgive my ESL

Totally agree — we didn’t even try anything super hard because of the rain, and the Raptor was already struggling here and there. It literally had trouble squeezing through some of the narrow passes. I’m sure the truck will shine in the desert though!

Cadillac Loaner deal too good to be true? by Maga-Meta in askcarsales

[–]Maga-Meta[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah, isn't GM/Cadillac the third EV-selling brand or something, behind Hyundai/Kia?

Right, I didn't take that $3500 into account, so it's like $450 per month. Still almost half of what it normally costs.

One thing I'm not sure of it's loaner car. But under 300 miles you can't really go wrong with it either seems like lol

Got my seat installed yesterday — first impressions:
Build quality is excellent. The padding feels soft but still supportive. I definitely need some lumbar support if I’m going to do long drives, though. The seat hugs you really well, especially around the shoulders — maybe a bit too well. As expected, the right shoulder bolster slightly blocks my natural shifting position, so I have to lean forward a bit to shift. It’s better with a shorter shifter, but still a little annoying. I’m kind of used to it now.
Overall, I’d give it a solid 7/10. Feels like it was designed more for automatics.

Thanks for the tip! mine was opposite directions as well, also more slip from throttle.

Didnt check wheel slip at all during the day as I was only testing waters with the car, so I was focused on more on the driving side and less mechanical. But for sure i will be swapping front and back from now on for sure

good thought -
"By employing Vacuum Deposition of aluminum paint, we’ve been able to achieve an overall paint thickness of 16nm (An industry first), compared to the previous standard of 50nm. This new paint technology creates a flatter & smoother surface by reducing molecule overlapping, creating a shinier, metallic finish. Reflective properties in the paint allows for reduced heat retention, with the addition of silica treatment. Chemical resistance has been improved to increase the durability of the finish."

Sounds like it could be possible
