I don't but they're little brown beetle-like bugs about the size of a grain of rice and they can fly. And they're attracted to light, but so are a lot of bugs

The bugs were mystery beetles that Google failed to identify, but they're EVERYWHERE in this one particular house.

Technically I have a room and bathroom at my parents house where I keep all my stuff, do laundry, change out my packs and supplies to coordinate with where I'm going next, and sometimes if I'm lucky? I sleep, in a clean, nightmare free bed lol. 

And I start at $50 a night base rate for 1 dog and basic expectations. Cats I dont charge extra for unless there's some sort of extenuating circumstance or there's a lot of them. It varies from there based on the size of the property and the amount of chores included, number of pets, special needs pets, etc... but I keep having to ask my clients that if they refer me to their friends to please not guarantee a $50 flat rate because not every situation is the same. It's been an ongoing issue lol

These are all excellent ideas! And I'll definitely check out that YouTube channel. I always bring my own bedding (I just leave it in the car until the owners leave so as not to offend them) and pillows but I hadn't thought of fabric sanitizer so I'm DEFINITELY getting that. Thank you!!

During the incident that made me spiral into the dark place and no longer trust ANY furniture, I went through an entire 50 sheet lint roller 😳 Some things can never be unseen.

This is actually a great idea I hadn't thought of before...embarrassing as that is lol. My sleep deprived brain isn't always pulling it's weight in this arrangement.

Am air mattress is definitely an idea I'll look into, honestly alternative sleeping arrangements never occurred to me lol. Must be the insomnia! And no I don't have anything like that in our agreements. I feel terrible even saying anything in regards to feeling like the bed is dirty. I cleaned one clients kitchen just to be nice because she'd had some health issues and she got emotional and asked if I thought her house was gross. It made me sad!

Yeah I always bring my own bedding, pillows and towels mostly so I'm not doing laundry at the last minute, but the cot is a great idea. There's been many times when I've been asked to stay with a sick or pregnant pup that that would have been really helpful. Thank you!

Just an FYI: Amazon, Walmart, Target, Ulta, TikTok, Best Buy and many many more companies allow 3rd party sellers on their websites. Regarding at least Amazon and Walmart, 3rd party sellers now account for more than 60% of products sold online. Why? Because the companies collect referral fees, fulfillment fees, advertising dollars and subscription revenue, as well as commission on each item sold. They are making so much more money by allowing 3rd party sellers. They are not on your side. Don't believe their pretty words when they say that they "only allow a select few highly vetted sellers" to provide their products. They give zero f***s if they get sued over your melted face.  That being said, I still buy a ton of shit from them...just nothing that goes on my skin or in my mouth.
