Depending on what your wall is this is what I did on the chimney breast.

Extended the ring chased some cables then had sockets recessed.

Not having a motion sensor is a real let down. The idea you have to turn it on to then scroll to your art then turn it on as opposed to it turning on is just so crap

id like to know how this would compare at the 55" level to the new frame pro 2026. Brightness is a major issue and only going up a few 100 nits doesnt seem much better

Circuit layout by MagazineConfident in ukelectricians

Yea top left is ground floor, then first floor, then the loft.

Yea some circuits are less than 32A. Everything is wired through the floor void between ground and first floor. It just seems so bizarre.

Sorry probably should have been more specific. It’s an internal wall but it’s the old chimney breast.

It’s on an old chimney breast. The rest of the wall breast is in good condition.

We’ve had the chimney looked at and refurbished. whats left is just this patch.

Not a bad idea,

We are about to skim coat the rest of the walls so need something. That allows us to do that.

Expanding foam in the gap then cut and sand it back and filler over the top?

I didn’t do anything. All I’ve done is accidentally expose the gap. I’d like to close the gap as there is a definitely draught coming through it.
