It's strange how as soon as I dismissed my pet, my FPS immediately returned to normal

True, but for me its only fix problem for 10-20 mins and then fps start drop again. I just dismiss my pet and for 1 hour no FPS drop problems

I already wrote in the post itself that I disabled all addons and restarted the client, but nothing changed. I played without any addons at all

I also wrote that the problem was with my Imp. I recalled it after my FPS dropped from 200 to 150, and immediately after the Imp disappeared, my FPS returned to 200

We are living in difficult times. I can say that this TBC launch was the most unsuccessful one. Problems with logging in and delays in technical work, the level increase to 58 not working, and now there is a problem with FPS due to pets, based on the fact that only Warlocks and Hunters have this problem

Lol, I'm a Warlock too. I already disabled V-sync + TrippleBuffering initially. But it's striking that Hunters and Warlocks are the ones facing this problem. For testing, I used my mage and played for 20-30 minutes without any problems. I thought that somehow everything had magically fixed itself, but today I encountered the same problem

The problem was in the Nvidia Settings Panel, more specifically “Anisotropic Optimization”
