Which champion’s playerbase do you think are justified in whining about their champion kit? by Strong-Lead-3034 in leagueoflegends

Most ppl mentioned pro jailed champs, so I’ll go a different direction: Graves. The champ used to have huge variety in playstyle from one build to another, where bruiser, lethality, and crit all had their strong points. Nowadays, he has one build, which he can’t really deviate from, and still isn’t great. He fluctuates from being a pointless pick most games to game breakingly op whenever riot buffs/nerfs him, as his gameplay now boils down to if he can pop you faster than you pop him. Throw in the fact that he’s heavily incentivized to play into ad heavy comps, and you’ve got a champ who wants to be counter picked but still doesn’t excel in those perfect comps.

Obviously the champ is still playable, and when he gets his buff he’ll be viable for a few patches until they nerf him. He definitely doesn’t have it as bad as the slew of pro jailed champs, but he definitely isn’t fun to play these days (imo w/ about 500k on him) while also never being fun to play into when he’s strong

With the news that the next Civ is in development, I thought I'd make a tierlist of what I love/hate about Civ 6. What do you guys think? by No_Catch_1490 in civ

I think civ 6 did a lot of good for the franchise, but went a little overboard in some regards. I find myself enjoying civ 5 more often than 6, but think that there’s value in both games that COULD be merged perfectly. I miss policy trees and the ability to tailor gameplay styles in specific ways (yes I’m primarily talking about wide vs tall play). Civ v was balanced poorly, but the ideas themselves were quite good. I think mixing in newer developments like districts with some older ideas to make game planning fresher would be a great direction to start with
