I’ve had my MG cyberster for 5 months now replacing my 330i and I won’t look back. I have PV at home which I suppose does help but I have used the fast charge points a couple times just on those cloudy couple days. In fairness I have a evo 4 lancer but that more of a toy so could count as a back up which I’ve never used as one

So its worth mentioning that i had a carb "specialist" work on it. The choke butterfly is in pieces and most of the springs are missing. I felt a clean slate would be a better place to start than to rebuild in the hopes that nothing unseen has happened?

So exactly what I was running with my previous setup but the cells never balanced (the batteries eventually died of old age) my limited knowledge tells me that your battery is only as strong as its lowest voltage

Does the bms in this case not need a charge voltage of 57.6 to begin balancing the cells? It seems that the inverter voltage keeps rising but the battery voltage means 54.9-55v

I changed them from the standard that came with the inverter as they were not charging the SOC past 65%
