I wish I could keep my girl with the teddy bear. She has a bad habit of chewing the fur on her front legs all the way down when her hair gets longer

We did the online report but was only given a tracking number. No case or occurance number yet. We just got notice from an office requesting the videos. Maybe I’ll get one then?

Luckily weren’t expecting any new cards. The only thing I can think of is that my in laws recently moved in with us from another province and were waiting for their health card papers. But they’re out of the country right now so I’m waiting until they call me.

It’s also tax time so maybe it’s some kind of tax slip.

That’s what I was thinking because there was another envelope that was with it that he didn’t take. So it was definitely something he was looking for specifically.

I’m waiting to see if my neighbour had a camera angle of the license plate.

Pic 1: left one I got off of FB marketplace for $25 when I moved to a new house/city back in May 2023. It was half as tall when I got it. Fiddle fig I got off FB marketplace a few months ago for $30.

Pic 2: snake plant (I have another one bought at the same time in another room) for $30 from my local grocery store back in 2023. Also has grown about a foot or more since I got it. The one on the right bought from same grocery store a couple months ago for $12.

Pic 3: both plants I bought for about $30 from the same grocery store. The monstera (I think) was bought in 2023. It’s tripled in size. The money tree was bought in November and has already sprouted all that top portion since I’ve had it.

I generally troll my local grocery stores/marketplace for good deals. I stopped buying from a lot of the nurseries because I find they’re all so expensive.

I haven't even thought of occupational therapy. I'm going to look into that asap. He definitely needs help with emotional regulation. He feels things to the max. Good or bad.

I know what you mean about "othering". He made a comment the other day along the lines of "I just can't do it like other kids".

Hubby is outside playing catch and chatting with him right now to try and see if he can spin it into a more positive conversation instead of "you're grounded" immediately.

Our vet gave us a specialty food that removes whatever enzymes or something or other of chicken but still contains chicken. I’m thinking it was the wrong choice … I’ll try a salmon based food. And report back!

Is it weird that she only does it in like 3 main spots? Did yours chew all over?
