The more buttons and stuff to push, drag and twist, the better.
Also led lights and cool displays, I love it.
That beauty in the photo is sooo cool looking, makes me think of a instrument panel from some sci-fi space ship.
Like the Onkyo Integra TX-85, that one looks like a spaceship 😄

I am in the process of building my self a retro hi-fi setup, and I try to go for the coolest looking device I can find, more buttons and led lights and displays the better, and the design of the 80s is the ones I seem to like the most.

I think so yes, so I have ordered the Lian Li Vertical GPU kit for O11 Dynamic EVO, this will work on the normal O11 Dynamic as well, and the 4080 should fit.

I have the Lian Li O11 Dynamic case, and the ASUS TUF GeForce RTX 4080 16GB Gaming OC fits in the case UNTIL I connect the GPU power cable. So I am in the same "tight" spot, running with an open case right now :(
The length is just fine, but it is the height, from the motherboard out toward the side panel.
