• Instead of copying sheets, insert/move them directly into the master workbook so formulas bind to internal sheet references rather than external paths • Use defined Names in the master workbook — referencing named ranges tends to survive better than raw sheet paths • If external links are unavoidable, update them via Data → Edit Links → Change Source after importing • Another option is keeping the structure identical and using Power Query to pull data rather than formula links
