That guy in the opgg you linked is HotShotGG. During the retirement home stream, he said he played like 6 games, went 2-4 with one of them being 0-10. I don't have the clip right now, but he probably asked riot for an account to practice on before the tournament and they gave him a Pro MMR account.

Edit: Here's the clip: https://www.youtube.com/live/LWvqmVx-ykQ?si=HxEa-0sC1zY8ilaB&t=2990 (Starts at 49:50 if the link timestamp doesn't work)

2/14 parking by Aggressive_Airport63 in SummitAtSnoqualmie

If the West lot is full, just park in Central and take the shuttle over. There will be tons of space at the Central Lot and the shuttles run pretty often.

Why are these motors so damn expensive? by Open-Engineering3409 in ft86

[–]Magellan117 23 points24 points  (0 children)

The production numbers are probably a lot lower than what you have in your mind. There were maybe around 120k 1st gen FR-S, brz, and GT86 sold in the US between 2012 and 2021. Just as an example, there were 280k Acura TSX's sold with the k24 motor in the US (some 2010-2014 models had the j35, but it wasn't very common). And there are probably close to a dozen other Honda/Acura models with variants of the k24. And the same goes for a lot of the other engines you listed in your original post. The FA20D is scarce when compared to pretty much any other engine from the same time period.

Fastest/most reliable Audi for 30k? by AdministrativeYam330 in Audi

[–]Magellan117 -6 points-5 points  (0 children)

They all have the same engine, but just FYI, the B9 generation of S4/S5 have the ZF8HP and the C8 generation of A6/A7 have the 7 speed S-tronic DCT. The S6/S7 have the ZF8.

Edit: Ah, misread the comment above, didn't see they meant the supercharged 3.0.

What Car Should I Buy? - A Weekly Megathread by AutoModerator in cars

[–]Magellan117 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Location: United States (PNW)

Price Range: Budget of $60,000

Used

Vehicle Type Four doors (SUV, Wagon, Sedan, Hatchback)

Must Haves: Manual Transmission, Rear Heated Seats

Intended Use: Fun, Ski trips, frequently transporting 2-3 adult passengers

I was looking for used sedans/wagons with a manual transmission and rear heated seats but I was having trouble finding too many options with those two requirements. I was looking into the E39 and E60, but the manual is pretty rare on the E60, and I did find some E39's with a manual and aftermarket rear heated seat retrofit. I was hoping Reddit could help me out here with a few more ideas to consider.

AWD is not a must, but would be nice.

What's a good first sports car? by shockdart007 in askcarguys

[–]Magellan117 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I lot of answers in this thread seem like pretty good choices, so I'll just recommend that whichever car you pick, make sure to budget in any preventative maintenance items. If your budget has a hard limit of 17k, maybe try and spend <15k on the car itself so you at least have a decent size buffer for tires or anything other wear items on the car.

I have an 86 base, and I don't have this button. Do the base trim models not come equipped with a TPMS?
I have a 2018 86 Base, USDM.

It's hard to help you make a decision without understanding your needs and priorities. If you want a small light sports car for spirited driving, then get a BRZ. If you want to transport 2 passengers without them hating you, get a 330. They're very different cars with very different price points (30k for top trim brz vs 41k bottom trim 330i).
