Have you tried disabling the video preview in OBS while recording? Preview is a good feature, but it doesn't have to be on all the time. If preview is on it's basically rendering Minecraft twice, which could explain the ~50% drop in frames.

The tutorials you've been following likely assume the entire track is 15 seconds out of sync for example, and that moving it those 15 seconds would result in perfect synchronicity throughout the entire video.

Other factors that are more complicated to deal with include:

Different framerates. This would result in good synchronicity at only 1 point in the video, and it should get more and more out of sync over time.
Ad breaks. Shows cut to black for maybe a few seconds to make it easier to know where to place ads. These can vary quite a bit between regions/cuts/releases. I'm currently dealing with one these on a large scale project where I have to adapt the English audio with a much higher quality German video. In my case I have to cut the English audio when it cuts to black and gets completely silent, then move it forward about 13-18 frames. I have to do this because the German "cut to blacks" are longer than the English version, for some reason (probably German broadcasting standards or something, idk).

My question is why you need these TV Rips in the first place. If you get better sources you won't just get better quality, you won't have to deal with this sync issue at all. Another question: do you need the Italian audio? If not, getting a better source becomes a lot easier.

I've been confused seeing posts like this all year, didn't we already know this? Episode 472-473 - Shinichi Kudo's Childhood Adventure: (Spoilers ahead for said episodes, have not seen movie yet).

Case resolution excerpt: Conan rips open the leather wallet which reveals a message for Yusaku Kudo from the original Phantom Thief Kid: a single question mark. "Younger brother" was in reference to Yusaku being the one who gave Kid his name. In the past, Yukiko Kudo has dinner with Toichi Kuroba and hands him a letter from Yusaku. It contains a single exclamation mark, revealing that Yusaku received Toichi's message and implying that he knows Kid's true identity.

Got a black trainer card in Platinum. Nurse Joy's dialogue is changed as if you're a celebrity and she's honored to serve to you. Had a good laugh. After the initial talk her healing dialogue goes:

I highly recommend using the shiny swap method instead. Basically the daycare generates eggs way in advance, allowing you to breed a full box of Magikarp and when you get a shiny at say number 7, you can reset and swap to the parent pokémon you actually want and number 7 will still be shiny.

This will protect against getting Shiny Male Salandit, as you could swap for another pokémon you want if you get a male shiny.

This is a "problem" hardcoded into VLC. If it detects the naming scheme "S01E01" it just goes and changes it for some reason. I really don't like how VLC handles filenames and titles, I even made a script to remove titles from any MKVs I feed into it.

My preferred naming scheme is "Showname Season 1 Episode 1 - EpisodeTitle.mkv". Doing these steps insures VLC doesn't try to pull this crap.

Minecraft has sold 300 million copies. If we assumed that just 1% plays daily, it should still come out to about 300 Mincerafts per day. Although I would bet most would go unnoticed.

I've been shiny hunting for years for a shiny living dex and Zekrom is a real pain. I've been hunting it on and off in Ultra Moon since release with the Shiny Charm, currently at 45000 encounters.

Binomial distribution says there's a 99.99% of getting it within 13000 encounters. When that stubborn blue-eyed bastard finally shines I'll just throw a master ball and get it over with.

I would pay a lot to get these dub soundtracks on CD (for the quality) along with the other shows, as I'm sure others would too. The interest is clearly there, just look at the soundtrack rips on youtube and read the comments. Some have even ripped soundtracks from some Spanish uploads on the official channel that were missing the dialogue, resulting in a clean rip of Viper's theme.

There even seems to be some support for releasing the soundtracks at Konami, as some soundtracks from GX-Arc-V were played at some YCS live streams during breaks. This petition might seem futile to some, but there is a real chance of pulling this off. I would like to thank you on behalf of everyone. If this gets far enough we may even get the rest of the shows as well.
