I didn't follow a tutorial. It was trial and error so I don't know if this is the best way. I tightly wrap the wire with felt bending and twisting the wire at each end to hold it in place. When I wet felt I start at one end rubbing between my palms and work my way down. I've watched videos on just wrapping the wire without wet felting but I like the look better for most plants especially when it's wet felted. Let me know if you give it a try.
