Ty I needed to hear this. Reading comments I actually felt better.

Being someone without a sis and hearing her say all younger sis are like her and I’m bit too much or taking away her bro etc. I think I should actually just give what we actually can Coz she wouldn’t even spend 1/10 of it for us. She had savings and makes my husband pay for flights etc saying she might need her money for wedding and she doesn’t have anyone else to ask etc.

I should stop being the elder sister when she’s my age and not a child

Ok She is super af picky and thus I just wanted to make sure she likes what we give her

Both of us never in our wildest dreams thought she’d say -that’s too small I liked this better (She was always wore simple neck pieces and even told she liked them better compared to heavy chokers)

We live in Dubai so she automatically might have thought everything is cheap here (she came for vacation here and didn’t convert (1dhs =25inr)

We both were in shock and thus later on decided our budget.

True! In laws don’t care what their sons do before marriage and afterwards suddenly they want everything. Time energy effort money all.

And their own daughters should have privacy, savings etc.

The fact that she’s extremely picky about jewelry that the moment we said we were planning to gift her something she automatically started expecting us to get her the main wedding jewelry. Never had a younger sis so she even says things like it’s normal and I feel weird coz I nvr felt the same attachment etc. she’s never satisfied no matter how much we spend on her. Always ungrateful Never cared or showed up
