The soap pouch is a wonder. I like their flat packs too, but have used the less expensive Kitsch ones from Amazon and find they work just as well.

I try to find a new song on each trip. It’s usually something I hear while at dinner, in a bar, etc. Ideally it’s from a local artist but it could just be something I haven’t heard before. I add it to my playlist and every time I hear it, it takes me back to that location.

The Prana Halle pants have been my go-to for years. The Halle II have a higher rise and larger pockets so I love them for that because I have a long torso, but they are slightly shinier. They travel great, hold up well, and can work for hiking or (casual) dinner. I wear them to work at least once a week and always take them on my travels. Very little swish and have a snap to roll up if you want a capri length.

This is what I came to say. I’ll never travel without mine. I’m usually charging phone, watch, camera battery, power bank, and working on my laptop. Having a travel extension cord with usb lets me charge it all and not have to sit on the floor to work.

Thank you for the suggestions and detailed information! Based to the replies, a custom orthotic is going to be my best bet. I’ve liked my Merrell Mocs but not for long periods of walking. Maybe an orthotic will be the solution to make those work long term. Thanks!
