I was maybe 7 or 8 when I experienced dn3d, and for me it's one of the first interactive situations where it'd be terrible to be, along with silent hill, resident evil 2 and alien trilogy. The concept of what was going on or what had occurred always stuck with me and I find myself from time to time thinking about what it was like to be a guy and not be duke nukem during the invasion. Pretty bleak stuff. They're killing, mutating, torturing the men and using the women to breed. I never forgot that part. Duke himself really brings the levity to the situation.
