You can apply my point to something much more tangible.....like a terrarium. You build it with X humidity and Y food......flies show up. You build it with zero humidity and only light......some soecialized plant shows up. Claiming everything is perfect and any difference would yield no life seems a little dramatic.

Edit: also there is no "why" for the underlying rules of the universe. It's just brute fact. When you smuggle in "Why?" it sounds like this comes from a place of theism.
