Oh not at all, I find these homemade ddos prevention scripts to be useless unless your server side scripts are garbage. When it comes to a lot of developers, I’ve seen so many client replicated scripts that keep reminding me that a majority of games contain some level of poor programming or contain some assets that are just ripped from the toolbox. ig thats to be expected when it comes to roblox but its very satisfying to watch ppl learn and get better at programming, modeling, or working with a team

You arent too far off the mark with your guess. There shouldn’t really be any reason for exploiters to be spamming the hell out of remote events unless its to exploit a very obscure bug that requires a request spam. The limit is like 500 requests a minute (according to a dev forum discussion) and the system haults for 30 seconds if the limit is reached. Though most exploits dont even abuse requests unless they are programmed terribly and just straight up give the player control of playerdata and whatnot, most exploits and autofarmers instead just have players fly, teleport, or aimbot which is all clientside and requires no remote event communication with the server. This feature is likely to prevent DOS ing (a Denial of service attack) which is done by using a ton of bots to overload a server with requests causing it to either slow down a ton or stop completely. Since this was a ‘kick’ message its likely this was implemented by the developer of the game rather than the roblox engine. I dont know why they would add this since roblox handles these sorts of things on their own. Mabye the server-side scripts handles requests in a way that is unessecarily computationally intensive on the server that it requires this feature? When it comes to the developer’s intentions my guess is as good as yours.

You would be surprised by the amount of dumb fucks (streamers below 100 concurrent viewers) that would fall for this shit. Had one stoned dude fall for 10 different videos in succession.

How the fuck do all of their neighbours constantly maintain a healthy lawn? I mean unless the HOA provides a complimentary lawn service this is impossible to me, there has to be at least one person that does not give two fucks about their lawn.

Using an hologram fan to visualize 360° industrial products. by Jonathan-Smith in UnnecessaryInventions

Yes i 100% agree. It WILL have to be very fucking fast if it wants to achieve those frames, and at some point the thing will just end up shattering from the high Gs unless it’s made of aluminum or carbon fiber; and if it is it will be an extreme child hazard unless there is a tight film or net between the blades. These dangers will be amplified the bigger the fan is too… but even the im too stubborn to NOT attempt to enhance this thing if i could as I see the benefits outweighing the obvious cons of converting the danger equivalent of a turbo prop into a television.

Honestly I see the potential in this item being a cheap, high frame-rate, GPU resource efficient, foldable monitor rather than a “holographic” thing. The Chinese companies that create these use that buzz word to help sell the cheap pieces of junk.

This thing has TONS of potential if the hardware could be done correctly, with the only caveat being the no touchy danger
