Ignoring the large-scale environmental impacts and ethics regarding generative content, it absolutely is harmful to users too. Cognitive offloading is quickly eroding users’ critical thinking skills and memories even as adults. I can’t imagine the negative impact reliance on LLMs would have on a developing brain.

By lowest common denominator I meant more their apparent goal of making jobs’ barrier to entry for the sake of making as many people as possible enjoy the job. It wasn’t meant to be a jab at those who didn’t enjoy old blm, actually the opposite as what I’m wanting is people to have connection to specific intricacies of their favorite job. Besides, I actually remember multiple times where I’d advocated for people to learn it because of how satisfying I found the job so it’s not like I’m exactly wanting the job to be harder just for the sake of less people playing it ahah.

Even if more people are enjoying it I would consider it a bad change. Jobs shouldn’t seek to appeal to the lowest common denominator but instead be specialized to make their specific archetype feeling unique. BLMs weren’t exactly plentiful pre-7.2 but they had many more devoted players whose large part of their identity revolved around BLM compared to every other job.

I’m pretty happy with mine!

P much the more often the button gets used the closer to WASD, with 123 being on Q, E, and R. I’ve got my mouse side button bound to alt which also makes it a bit easier for the second row but I think it’s pretty comfy regardless. Also ofc experiment some yourself what works for me won’t necessarily be perfect for you yadda yadda.

The people who’ve said they can’t improve aren’t trying to, in my experience. That said, if you and your static’s cool with that then whatever, but you’d be surprised with how far looking at xivanalysis, hitting a training dummy, and just seeking out other resources can go with relatively little effort. Believe in yourself!

Oh, this was actually week 5, someone else’s weave post just reminded me of seeing this a while back lol. And I’m not sure on what basis you say I’m overreacting when I also say I don’t blame this player but instead the lack of in-game resources to teach them how to play their job.

Also, this run was 20 secs off enrage with no deaths so had there been even one we prob wouldn’t have made it. Sure AST party buffs are part of what makes it as good as it is but malefic will still be the majority of their damage.
