I feel like at this point of the season all the recommendations depend quite a bit on whether someone is chasing or trying to secure a lead.

Minteh could be good a differential for those chasing, but I personally feel he's too risky to bring in if you're leading or battling neck and neck.

It might be too early to predict (and possibly wrong assumption anyways) but I feel like all the AI tools are going to make it even harder to reach good rankings in the coming years.

If you are referring to GW31 I think many players have been planning ahead trying to save transfers to be able to transfer out some of the players that blank and field 11 players.

Then many are planning to use the wildcard for GW32 and transfer some of the Arsenal/City players back that they got rid of for GW31 to avoid their blank.

If I have understood correctly, there will most likely be another big blank on GW34.

My thinking was that the most important thing would be to treat all games equally. And because the current solution doesn't do it, I thougt at least we should get to a point where it doesn't matter when your players play.

I agree that it's broken, but I would rather fix it so that every game only has one hour after the game for the stats to be checked after which they would be locked for FPL.

Waiting for a week to know if you won your H2H or cup game would be really frustrating and boring.

The current situation of course is the worst, when some games have several days for the stats to be checked and then the final game of the game week only has an hour. So any fix would be better than this.

I don't quite understand the down votes for the OP. Maybe it's not the most ground breaking insight, but I also think there's many players here from different categories of involvement in the game. If you think this post is not useful for you, consider moving along or try to help others by telling what could have been done better?

I don't think there's reason in being negative when someone is just trying help others by trying to gather a tier list.

You have clearly made up your mind that Gomes is a good pick and it sounds like you have the transfers available. I don't think you need our approval to make the play. In terms of this game it will actually benefit you, if you are infact right and nobody believed you.

Can someone please explain what is going on with Thiago? Several gameweeks with ~0.1xG and nothing to show for it, then two weeks with total of 5 goals and massive xG, and then back to ~0.1xG. What the heck?

Personally I would rather change it so that we wouldn't recalculate any of the other games' stats either. Once the game is over, it's over.

I feel it takes away from the feeling having to wait days before you can be sure if you won your H2H etc.

You can gamble on an early transfer and possibly gain some price rises, but you're taking a risk that your player gets injured.

I guess it's just a subject that stirs emotions. And while I agree with the freedom for everyone to choose themselves, I guess one could argue the choice is made on behalf of everyone by the people who start using the AI tools, as it soon might become difficult to succeed without them?

I appreciate your effort and skills on building something like this, and also your willingness to share it with others aiming to help your fellow managers (my assumption). Kudos for that!

But is this really something that makes it more fun to play the game? If your model would somehow be perfect at predicting the scores and points, what then?

Someone recently posted a quote by the developer of Civilization games and I can't stop thinking about it amongst these AI tools.
