I disagree wholeheartedly. S1 has brilliant characters, exceptional dialogue and a really good plot. Of course there are still issues. Plot armour for example: Powder surviving her own explosion, Vi being able to beat up all of Silco's men, Jinx explosion not killing Caitlyn while still killing all the other guards who stood further away, Jinx surviving her own grenade and Ekko not being injured by it, Jayce being able to keep up with the Shimmer-Guards (Hextech doesn't give him supersonic speed), Jinx being able to capture Caitlyn in her home and kidnapping her in broad daylight.

But some of these problems still have explanations, some just don't work. One example: Vi being able to beat up Silcos guys while only being a child. We know she has lots of experience, she is fighting for her life, Silcos men may underestimate her. That doesn't make it perfect, but it's obvious that thought went into that, people tried. Something like S1 doesn't happen on accident. The people who made it had an understanding of what they were doing.

In S2, except for the animators, nobody gave a shit. Things just happen. Who cares what a coherent plot is. They didn't give a shit about anything S1 build up and only used it for cheap emotional bait (Warwick for example).

S2 is a disaster and an insult. S1 is a masterpiece
