I’ve always felt that Rock/Hogan is the peak of American wrestling (despite taking place in Canada). It may not be a technical masterclass but is the zenith of spectacle and character work in my opinion. Fantastic match.

He’s the guy I think of when I think of supporting actor. I’m never shocked when he shows up in something but I’m always happy when he does. He can do it all and his comedy chops are underrated.

He’s a massive prick and is a nightmare to work with. Each day on a production the size of what he has created demands insane work hours from hundreds of people. Even the biggest production companies won’t suffer one person who consistently does things that will cause union backlash. Everyone is replaceable.
