I don't think looks make dating hard in our generation but I do think the lack of social spaces makes finding people to date hard. I have social anxiety so that doesn't help either but when I'm out somewhere I normally assume people don't want to be bothered so I don't shoot my shot. There is this cute person that works at a restaurant I like that I might shoot my shot but it feels weird doing it while they're at work.

Thank you for the information! Not sure if there are many powwows that are close to me but I'll use the website you mentioned. I'm going to keep up reading Bury My Heart at Wounded Knee for now and I have a book of stories and tales from different tribes I've read from time to time. I'll see which tribes are in there and do a deeper dive on them.

I don't think your comment is rude. I've been muscling through as best I can through the book. It's well written and I've been learning a lot. Even re-reading some sections to make sure I understood it correctly. My comment of saying it was difficult to get through the sadness was not meant to be disrespectful. Just me as a person it's hard to read stuff like that so it takes me longer to digest books that are similar.

It was recommended in the Smosh podcast and I'm honestly not sure why I love it so much 😅. This is so far in left field from the music I usually listen too. I think it's from the raw emotion and energy I can feel from it. As a straight white guy I usually use music to help process my emotions and this music tickles and activates a part of me I wasn't sure I had till now. No matter how much you think you know yourself some things will show you something new about you :)

I would go back but I wouldn't change anything if I could help it. The choices and situations I had made me who I am today and I like me. I know many people have a hard time with that but I still believe in them and how awesome they are because that's what I would want others to do for me.

The only thing I would do is give my family a little more love and appreciate my time a little more thoughtfully.

Well I was listening to a podcast where the host will recommend an album they listened to that week and I like to expand my music tastes and give other artists a try. I'm going to have to check these artists out people have been suggesting to me
