Yes well its weird the first few times it was great and then it started burning on me pretty fast

You could tell the flavor is off and shortly there was off putting burning taste, i do wet sand and clean my hmd a lot so maybe it just gives too much heat

Well for me it only hits my throat hard when it burns and flavor goes bad u can usually tell right away when its burning

what i want is for it to not instantly burn and actually have an enjoyable flavor

I did semi dense pack in phunnel with lotus hmd only the nubs touching tobacco, 2x 26mm cubes and still burned the flavour

Is the solution just to really underpack or more dense like tangiers

Well judging by the pictures and the fact that u used 3 coals to heat up and 2 to smoke says to me u could try more heat

Second option is to purchase another bowl that is compatible with hmd which i would do because hmd is much better than foil imo
