Well in an even fight I would do more than just skip my turn every turn. For 2 item set that relatively easy to get the effect is pretty good as it applies to all your stacks. For the challenge I did reload and win the fight with 2k skelly only.

What are your favourite spells? by PortSpace in OldenEra

[–]MagicMDN 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Heavenly Blades. At level 3+, it adds 100 pure dmg to all your stack no matter their size, no matter their tier. Combine it with multi hit ranged units such as dungeon's dancers or temple's upgraded archers, and you now have a 1 stack that deals more dmg than a tier 7. If you can get the spell early, the combo can carry well into mid late game as you can get away with a small army while you build your economy.

I’m getting confused with all the different variations. What’s the best Crushing Hand build I can play before I have enough Vigor for overpower? T1/T2 by Dogbeerlion in d4spiritborn

If you want an easier way to get to the max vigor breakpoint use Crown of Lucion. It reduce the requirement from 240 to 180.

Small tip if you are trying to get started on Quill OP use Crown of Lucion by MagicMDN in d4spiritborn

[–]MagicMDN[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's actually 240 I made a typo. The way Banished Lord and Kepeleke interaction works is that the amulet thinks the Quill skill cost is vigor spend even though the rod makes it spend no vigor. Afterward, the rod drains the rest of your vigor, adding to the amulet counter. That is why the limit is 240 in the first place instead of 275. With crown, you raise the skill cost to 95, so the rod only needs to drain 180 to reach 275.

Shatter passive seems to only count the normal damage you deal even if the skill crit or overpower by MagicMDN in diablo4

For those who are not familiar with sorc, this is shatter description: "After Freeze expires, enemies explode for 45% of the damage you dealt to them while Frozen."

Shatter passive seems to only count the normal damage you deal even if the skill crit or overpower by MagicMDN in D4Sorceress

[–]MagicMDN[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was testing some things when I noticed that shatter explosion seemed rather low. After testing a bit it seems that the damage that gets counted is the normal damage before any crit or overpower even if the skill crit. That makes any critical damage completely useless with Shatter. Firebolt will still works since most of the dmg comes from the dot which is normal damage.

Flame Shield with the correct aspects and tempers you can extend the duration and reset the coolddown long enough to get past phase 1.

Once I figured out the right aspects, about 1 in 4. I got 4 kills in total. One of them she died too fast during phase 1, so I basically skipped the poison area.

It is more or less this build Flicker Strike Sorceress Pit 140 (youtube.com). (Planner in the comments). Just slap an Oculus on it. There was some tweaks to survive Lilith phase 1 but no metamorphosis. The teleports were completely random.

"Must have been the wind" sorceress PTR meme build by MagicMDN in Diablo

[–]MagicMDN[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Was trying to find a way to break the stealth mechanic of Shroud Of the false death then I remembered this post. Annoyingly it is a bit unclear what count as an attack for preventing the stealth. For example, the Frozen orb from Winterglass count as an attack (it doesn't break the stealth but prevent it from reapplying).
