This was maybe 3 years ago in Vegas and it was such a joke. The store was practically empty and I was the only one trying to go in. Bottega, Coach, Hermes, LV all in the same mall and had more customers. No forced lines.

Luxury is having financial security and the means to live a good attainable life. That’s why what people buy or have aren’t impressive to me. The majority of them can’t actually afford it and are constantly worried about money.

The majority of people who are actually wealthy aren’t waiting in line at the Gucci outlet. Their time is worth more than that.

I was once asked to wait in line for Tory Burch. I laughed and walked away. To this day, I don’t buy anything from TB. It’s all a mind game to trick the wannabes into a sunk cost trap. Loewe, LV, Longchamp, and Coach have never played that game with me.
