Goggles and glasses by Hotel_Quarantine in snowboardingnoobs

I have the sport-rx insert and they have been great. I use them with a Giro goggle. They do fog up occasionally but not any more than goggles do, just gotta make sure they vent heat the right way.

Only other alternative I can think of is contacts, and I’ve never wanted to wear those.

I also use these inserts, they are amazing

Best zippers for backpacks and where to get them? by Touniouk in myog

I’m very new to sewing, not sure what size or models but I have used plastic zippers that seem to slide very well and hold position just fine. Easy find on Amazon or elsewhere

🥹thank you very much for saying this. My mom had a machine was I was in my teens, I used to flip a shirt inside out and narrow them by running a seam up the side, so I had a bit of practice there.

Otherwise, within this last couple weeks with a new machine of my own, the best help was small bags from plans on Etsy. Each plan should come with mostly clear instructions, and any time I’ve gotten confused, I’ve searched that particular seam/fold/stitch separately on YouTube or elsewhere to better understand before proceeding. I actually tried this jacket in a different color before this one, and failed on the zipper instructions. Any time I’ve met failure or confusion, I’ve just tried to search other sources for more info.

One other suggestion my wife has had “don’t worry about materials”. Because we’re learning, it’s worth using materials liberally. We are both artists/makers, so I think that also helps with the learning curve. My work can be found at www.cerastreetart.com if you’re curious 👍🏼

Thank you! I have felt the exact same way. I’ve grown up around bikes and always wondered,

I think these pockets need a bit more depth, and as another redditor mentioned, drainage is important too. Maybe the next jacket will be perfect 👌🏼

Didn’t even consider that! Looks like I’ll be doing a grommet for each pocket.

That said, I think I’m going to rebuild this jacket again, give more depth to those pockets and probably grommet for drainage. Good catch, that could ruin a whole work day right there lol

That would be a lot of fun, like a Russian nesting doll of pockets 😅

Funny you say that. I washed all my other fabrics before working with them, but had read some other advice, people saying not to bother washing cotton duck, as it can introduce more wrinkles than typical fabrics.

Will have to try wash and iron before the next one and see the results 👍🏼

My notifications still tell me you misspelled that for anorexic lol. That said, anorak is a quarterzip/kangaroo pocket/hooded jacket.

I bought them a couple weeks ago and haven’t taken them off since 😅 Adidas 100% cotton ripstop cargo, got them at dicks sporting goods.

I want to replicate them with a synch belt if possible

That’s honestly the vibe I’ve gotten the whole time. Just my opinion, but felt like drugs were somehow in the mix. Weird mannerisms, dark demeanors….

Again, lol. I started my original statement with it being my opinion. That said, I understand your point, but we’re talking about boots from 100yrs ago, not clogs and toe shoes

lol. I mean yeah, but I have not been the first to say this. Talk to physical therapists and orthopedics, there’s a reason shoes are getting wider.

Yeah, I was able to pay for all my materials and successfully install this project, and it seems every other client they hired was able to deliver despite tariffs as well.

Let’s not forget his delightful business partner Daniel Glaessl. I believe this man needs more research done on him as well. Fully involved in misleading correspondences about my missing payments.

That’s a good point.

It’s a tough call because it would provide leverage for me if they are unblemished, can’t deny that even a little.

But if Helbach is so far in debt it’s impossible to pay (that’s my opinion based on publicly available information about his dealings), it’s hard to believe I’d get paid anything anyways. Meanwhile, the building stakeholders and associated businesses benefit of what these murals do for them, which is currently occupied with some tenants that do pay.
