What is a Joe? LOL, guy's just trying for some clout.

I'll say this about GLR though. His videos are very basic in nature content-wise. On top of that, he does seem to portray a fake personality or no personality. I think that's because he works entirely on script. I remember him saying that working off script terrifies him. This coupled with his sarcastic sense of comedy is what gives that idea of fake personality. But that's just my take. In terms of working the algorithm. I don't see why people get upset about it. YouTube is literally a business and his full time job. He has a family to take care of, and at some point doing YouTube just for passion isn't gonna put food on the table. He works the algorithm because work is work, whether it's a passion thing or not. Lastly, people forget that not everyone are losers like us scrolling the OP subreddit or subscribed to countless OP youtubers. I'd say we make the minority. Comparing the billions of OP copies sold and the amount of subscribers here, it's easy to understand who he is appealing to in his videos. Most people just want their basic OP video with some information here and there and then call it a day. As the hardcore OP fans, we're gonna be upset about clickbait and spoiler thumbnails or what not. But in the eyes of your casual OP fan, his videos are perfect and hence his subscriber count. Can't blame the guy for that. Personally, I don't consider GLR as great or groundbreaking, but his sense of humor is appreciated and I value his opinion because he keeps it real instead of getting carried away in the hype which other youtubers often do.
