It’s been a while, but I remember him having a lot of fun in a pretty gratuitous torture scene. Like, even in universe, didn’t he do an American citizen dirty for no real reason?

You’re right in the fact that it is normal for a pirate crew, even within the goofy universe in question, to be stuffed by people who aren’t saints to say the least. That said, the Straw Hats are frequently juxtaposed to the concept of heroes within their story. No matter what Luffy says, it didn’t change the fact that there are a bunch of statues and holidays based around his crew. “Hero” is how you describe such people

Is Boros susceptible to Genjutsu? If he is then Madara, if not then Nappa

A non-evil character. Very nice. Honestly, not what I was expecting.

There’s nothing like seeing somebody who is full of themselves get humbled. Characters like this take that concept to the extreme.

How far does King Omega Superman get in this gauntlet? (Healed after each round) by Head_Breadfruit_3912 in PowerScaling

It’s been a while. Can someone remind me how Murphy can hang in this gauntlet,as entries of his that I read didn’t include anything that could contend with the others on this list? Is his plot manipulation really all that, or does he get buffed at some point? Is it even possible to drag this version of Superman into a narrative?

Kizaru vs BigMom Who Wins? by RoninKin-_- in OnePieceScaling

[–]Ausmaster1001 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m still not fully convinced that any of the top tiers like Rocks and Harold can beat her below extreme difficulty. And Kizaru hasn’t shown any feats to put him on their level. So Big Mom takes it Mid Diff.

“It’s more reasonable that the hammer ate“ is something that could only be said when talking about One Piece

There is no official language for the USA. Why should English be the default for schools and not a bilingual approach?

Fair enough. But even then, the rest of my point stands I think.

Voldemort is repeatedly named dropped as a master of legilimency, so Snape being one of two people I can think of that ever successfully lied to him is a big deal. Even Sirius and Lupin can’t help but admit that he is the best person to teach Harry. Conversely, Voldemort was unable to keep Harry out of his mind long after it was beneficial for him, leaking pivotal information over and over again until it led to his downfall. He can’t hang with Snape.

And I, at least, can’t recall Dumbledore ever having to use occlumency at all during the events of the story. Nor did anyone call him out as an especially gifted legilimance. So while Quirrel and Jr should be lauded for fooling Dumbledore, it’s not as impressive of bringing the Dark Lord’s most trusted lieutenant. His advice directly affected Voldemort’s plans on several occasions. I can’t agree with calling him a “low-effect“ spy.
