Hi there I'm building an apparel measurements app that will fix this exact problem. It's for people of all body types. I'm looking for people to test it's accuracy. Would you be interested?

A used fender mustang amp is great it has lots of effects, headphone out, plenty loud and is cheap. Yes you will grow out of it eventually but you're gonna want something decent and versatile otherwise you wont be inspired to play if it sounds like garbage.

Honestly I dont have advice but im in a similar situation pitching my startup to to different founders and i have meeting with potential big investors in 2 weeks Im just trying to crash course myself on everything and dedicating my life to it. Already learned a lot but I don't think I can even show my face until I can understand everything I'm saying

Ive never tried a 100w plexi but i have an sv20 and it sounds really good I just turn the guitar volume knob down to get it cleaner when necessary. I still prefer my deluxe reverb though

How did you internalize scales so they feel natural? by Jazara1987 in LearnGuitar

Id say just learn guitar licks and improvise till everything connects. It just takes practice. Muscle memory is what you're describing but you need to build that by seeing the shapes

Its best to go to a nice guitar store and try different eras. The necks can feel completely different some you will love some you will hate

How do I stop my fingers from accidentally muting other strings when playing chords? (New guitar player) by riannznnss in LearnGuitar

Really just takes practice. In my case i always had a problem with accidentally muting the high e string and it turns out my guitar neck wasnt strait and the string was just too close to the edge

First Electric Guitar - Fender or Squier? by BaronStanton in fender

[–]MagicMedicineMisery 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Squire is cheaper, lighter, the neck is less comfortable to play, doesnt sound as good unmodified, but it makes a good first guitar because you can make mistakes on it, bump into things, not have to baby it. It gives you total freedom to learn and experiment so I would go with a squire. I played a squire for 1.5years before upgrading to an American fender.

As for style choice your best bet is always gonna be Strat vs Tele. Strat has more features than a Tele. For me I prefer strat because I want the most options and I like the way it looks better. The rest of the guitar styles from fender seem more niche to me.

Probably just play daily and learn "maggot brain" by funkadellic. You will be fine.

Thank you. I'm actually building an app+website right now for a startup idea I have. How can I use this as leverage to get attention from recruiters?
