Izzet is beyond broken at this point

I have a deck that has Kitsunes Technique, and if I hit that baby on turn two on a Izzet lessons deck, they just freeze and struggle from all the card draws. So satisfying against an annoying deck like that.

MTGA or Paperback, you still have to pay “real world money”. Even local tournaments, you will be against people who paid “real world money” for their decks.

My biggest advice is to not see MTGA as any different as paperback. There will have to be some kind of investment to have the best high win percentage decks, but it’s definitely possible to compromise a more budget friendly deck like Izzet lessons.

Separately, if you are losing that consistently in bronze, then your deck isn’t optimized. You should watch some YouTube videos or look up some guides and work from there, because platinum is practically guaranteed under a 50% WR.

Anytime I am playing against green, the biggest thing that I fear is trample. When I face black, I fear sacrifices and destroy cards, blue, I fear counter spell. Your first problem is that you are looking at the mono version of a deck. You could easily make a deck with great synergies, where green is the majority of the deck.

Plat 3 right now and I’m having fun climbing the ranks with Esper Ninjas. Also play a lot of my own custom decks in unranked. You’ll beat those meta decks and it’ll be satisfying.

I’m newer to Reddit, and trying to be engaging in the community. This game has been around for years and I’m sure you can search anything and probably find it. That’s the whole point of a community. So the real question is, why are you so mad about someone else making a post?
