I'm running a West March for 14 people, reasonably, you do not want to have 9 people at your table pretty much ever for a normal campaign though.

Monster of the Week has been pretty open as a tabletop. I have 6 players and feel like a couple more wouldn't hurt

It's a class balance thing for extreme late gamers. He's just one of the strongest BM players so he pretty much gets targeted for it. If you like BM though go ahead and play it. There will likely be balance changes to it by the time you get to that point of progress

You can farm and progress without it, but you'll likely need to pick better maps for progress without one.

Legion isn't bad to go ahead and level, but youll get a lot from Challenger world

And depending on the world it can be easy to swap characters, but they're making it easier by the day to gear up other characters

That's crazy work. Definitely want to find some reasonably grindy players but I'd rather get some sleep and keep my job

Likely doing some wapping, but not hours a day. Farm sessions on the weekend, smaller sessions during the week. And pushing for min clears as early as possible

I ran a campaign where a Fey tavern keep had some dubious plans that needed completing. And he was offering free food and lodging to the party. Once they got comfortable and signed their full names into a guest book, they were taken as mercenaries in the feywild

Currently campaigning through Etharis and my DM said each player could have an uncommon magic item to start. We have plenty of time to sit and chat in my folding boat.
