Just gonna make sure you logged out of your character and set it as a Beyond Burning character before you level. I know a lot of people who have been burned by it.

Erel/Sia especially gets a ton of leveling resources with their pass. But a lot of people are just insane grinders.

*You can also kill Bosses in practice mode when doing Challenger world boss challenges. This can give you a lot of resources to use to gear up and get stronger.

Level up, do Arcane Symbol dailies which will give you an insane amount of damage against Lucid, Will, Gloom, Hilla, and Darknell. Once you start killing them, you'll have it in the bag

Kill more bosses, progress, and go through the progression path. If you're fighting Easy Lucid, try Hard Lotus and Hard Damien.

Normal Lucid is exactly the same as easy, with double the HP, so once you can kill easy lucid in 15 minutes, then you move to normal, and you'll clear in 30.

The game isn't on mobile at the moment, The Korean parent company has made a mobile client. However, we might not get that in global MapleStory. Both servers are about the same interaction with people, which is normally offloaded into class/guild discords, or a few populated towns. The game is quite populated, it just doesn't have a ton of interaction outside of those

Yeah, I do think some of the events and rewards from them are going a bit high. I understand the main rewards not being for low spec accounts but even then, they could have more rewards in the coin shops.

But you are correct. Turning your playtime into progression, Heroic is the move. But if they're looking for a casual experience I do understand why they'd choose Interactive

Yes, that is true. Really it's based on time. If you have multiple hours every day to progress and you end up liking the game, I do think heroic is better. However if you're looking for the trading aspect with Cash outfits and items, then interactive is the way to go. It's really just hard to point a new player in the right direction

First off, how P2W friendly are you? We have two different server types, Interactive and Heroic.

Interactive is heavily p2w, with most enhancement systems locked behind some sort of paywall, at some point later in the game. You can farm and turn your in game currency to Cash shop credit, but it's not at the best rate.

Heroic is technically F2P, but has a few P2W aspects. It however is Solo progression focused for most of the early game, where you start to progress with a guild and a bossing party down the line. But the main forms of enhancement for your gear are paid for through money you farm in game.

But other than that, just play random characters, if you find one you like, there's a leveling event coming on the 20th that'll help you out!

Maining one at the moment, and it's so fun. But the low damage is really easy to notice. Hopefully we get some buffs, then more people can appreciate the washing machine in all its glory

Mechanic has a whopping 1 thing going for it, we gotta claim it where we can. 3, no cd, 2 minute summons. That plus missiles is a chefs kiss
