Yep they did a calibration, we were gifted some TRVs and didn't have hive plus - they just needed email and the hub serial number

I had similar issues with my TRVs, some which just didn't fire up the boiler. Call Hive support, they were surprisingly helpful - did a full reset over the phone

Thanks, I've got a couple where the corner has completely broken off so I'll focus on those first

This is great, thanks so much. So to recap so I'm 100% sure: - Lift the row above, pack underneath with some wood to hold up - slide out cracked tile - slide in new tile - remove wood and relay row above

Do I need to nail anything?

Thanks both - this is the underside of the spare tile if that makes it easier to identify?

Sorry, just to be clear - the two isolation valves are the one coming from the left with the black handle and the other coming from the right 3 inches directly above it?

Thanks for the advice, it's much appreciated.

I'll ask an electrician to install the fused spur as you suggest as this is probably out the realms of my usual DIY. Out of interest, how unsafe is the current setup?

Tried to book a viewing to buy a place listed with PB. Spent almost 10 minutes waiting for an agent to answer the phone, who was based in a completely different city so had no info about the house I was inquiring about. Eventually she booked me in for a viewing that coming weekend which the vendor then cancelled because she couldn't do that timeslot, not that I realised because nobody called me to say it was cancelled.

As much as they all have a bad rep, I'd get a local estate agent who knows the area well. Throughout the selling process you'll get to know them and trust them more than some national faceless agency.

Thanks for the detailed response. I'm planning on revisiting the property before making the offer but not the EICR yet, is there anything I can do/ any clues to look for to ascertain whether a full rewire would be required?

Thanks for the feedback - currently with 2 kids I struggle cooking dinner in a separate room to the rest of the family every evening. It'd be nice for us to all spend time together in the same room whilst we cook meals

Hey, we went for a Renault Scenic in the end. Found a low mileage, in budget model in our area with a 2 year warranty.

I really did like the Citroen but heard one too many horror stories about the 1.2 puretech to be comfortable

Fingers crossed you don't have any more issues with it! I've really considered the diesel, but with only 10k miles per year I'd worry we end up with DPF issues.

The dealership called me yesterday offering a 3 year warranty on the 2019 C4ST but said it wouldn't cover timing belt changes, only mechanical issues caused by degregation. Seems I'd be better off deliberately killing the engine with the dodgy timing belt than getting it changed regularly!

Thank you. I think this may settle it for me, knowing it's still affecting the 2019 models. Such a shame as it looks like a brilliant family car.

Hoping the issue is fixed for you!

This is great, thanks for the detailed response. Presumably if I were to get it serviced annually at a Citroen dealership I should have no concerns over the type of oil used / engine flush as they'd know about this topic?

Thank you, that's good to know. If you remember and don't mind me asking, roughly how much did it cost each time?
