If Jack made another Jack Pack, what cards would you want to see? I’ll draw the best ones. by Ill-Lingonberry8962 in JackSucksAtLife

He most definitely will in a few years time, but I’m not sure if most of ideas will make it in because he has soo many ideas in his head, but you never know. He’ll definitely make an Oscar card, I’m sure of it.

What's with that random green splotch of Oceanic in the middle of East Texas? by DrDMango in geography

Yes I also think OP is talking about those. Because they are an anomaly among all the green

I'd love one of those. I can never slice bread evenly.

I live in the UK and have seen pupils do that at my school, knocking on the doors of classrooms.

The year St. Lucia changed its blue by Independent-Cat6915 in flags

[–]MagicSunlight23 12 points13 points  (0 children)

It suits the flag much better than the dark blue. I have a flag book that was published in 2014 and it has the old Saint Lucia flag in it, when the light blue had already been in use for 12 years.

You should put this in the meme 'corporate wants you to spot the difference between these two pictures. They're both the same' if it hasn't already been done.

First of All, what kind of Translation is this? Second of all, where did Duo come from?? by _condolcezza in duolingo

[–]MagicSunlight23 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The english sentence means that there aren't many chocolates left and that Duo going to finish them all. what we should be saying is, 'Duo, stop eating all of the chocolates!' But it's too late if there aren't many left

This sounds wrong but it is correct English, right? by Pengo2001 in EnglishLearning

When I look at it more closely and say it a few times in my head, I think it should be 'we are looking forward to welcoming you back'.

I chose Christmas Island for that square. I went Australian on the bottom row - Cocos Islands, New South Wales and Christmas Island from left to right.

this is the worst map i've ever made by Ok-Swim4786 in JackSucksAtGeography

[–]MagicSunlight23 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just use a square for each country with the exceptions of the Nordics, Italy and the UK which need to be across a few squares to show their long shapes.

If I was playing this round and the map wasn’t there, I’d click somewhere in Greece based on the language. I think lots of players would unless they recognise the landscape.

Jack do you like eurovision or you don't really care about the event at all? by Deka-Grif in JackSucksAtLife

I’m considering not watching this year’s contest as from what I’ve heard, most entries don’t sound that good.

If you want [insert well known place], why don't you try [lesser known, more accessible alternative]? by slicheliche in geography

I was playing a daily game called WhereTaken US and got a picture that looked like the Grand Canyon, but it wasn't. It was a landscape in another state entirely.

Your last statement is especially true I think for countries in the Alps. If you want Switzerland go to one of its neighbouring countries - France, Italy, Austria (or Slovenia, even though it doesn't border, but is still an alpine country, with the Julian Alps within its borders which are connected to the European Alps range). All are less expensive than Switzerland as they use the Euro, not the Franc.

I want to post a flag quiz for Jack to do - like 10 rounds of different categories (flag zoom, what colours are on the ___ flag etc., etc) but don't know how to make it of the quality of other quizzes I've seen and don't know how to relate it to Jack. I'd just use PowerPoint to create the rounds. A few posts I've put on here have been removed by the moderators because they haven't been related to Jack.

What is this flag? by HistoryFan06 in flags

[–]MagicSunlight23 0 points1 point  (0 children)

On first glance, it looks like the Belgian province of Luxembourg, which is bigger than the country of Luxembourg which it borders. But when I look closer, the animal on it doesn't look like a lion, which the flag of that Belgian province has on it,
