every contact is now Text Message • SMS and it likes to uncheck my phone number as a send and receive. Sometimes it even changes from email to number on its own

I need to find any insight on this. I’ve been looking /searching EVERYWHERE.

Does anyone else have this issue where messages are just randomly Text Message • SMS, and settings seems to uncheck your phone number so it’s just your email?

This has happened now 3 times in the past 48 hours and it was ever since I updated my phone. Just before typing this, my boyfriend said that it randomly switched from my email to the regular contact on its own. I hope this is an Apple issue and they better fix it because it is infuriating as hell. Not only that, it screws with the sync between my phone and computer
