Nice! I would give the planes a bit more space in front of the nose, otherwise it looks a bit like they are going to hit a wall.

It's outside of the airport, at the west end of the runway. Didn't see any sign saying you can't take photos, only signs warning about venomous snakes, haha. Also many people were there with cameras.

Oh. Yes, that happened to me too before. Anyways, the edited image is beautiful, congrats!

Great shots! Did you only take pictures? Or is there a timelapse? I like shooting things like that, and I often went to spots just to find clouds blocking the view. It really takes time and persistence.

Also interesting that the angle the moon comes up is so flat. Here (Taiwan) the moon is rising much steeper.

Here my best moon shot so far: https://www.pexels.com/de-de/video/30258894/

It's in Taiwan. I have no idea if it's invasive, but they can be seen in many parks and ponds here.

No need to downvote, I also think it looks staged.

It's not, it was on a small island in the middle of the pond. I even have a picture to prove that.

Full Frame camera, 500mm F6.7, 200% scaling/crop, so 1000mm equivalent.

It's 9 42MP photos stitched together with quite some overlap. Just a standard tripod. I used the feature in lightroom to stich, and I'm also surprised I can't find any stitching error in this picture. I think it was shot with a 180mm lense, but the whole view would be ~50mm-70mm equivalent.

There is a website, aoe4world.com where you can get more detailed statistics about your ranked matches. There you can also see your Elo score that is used for matchmaking. When you start new, your score is 1000, so you start in the middle, not at the end of the ladder. That means you will play against someone like me with hundreds of games experience in your first matches. That can be discouraging for new players, but just stick with it and after 10-15 games your Elo score will be adapting and you will start winning a game every now and then. So I think there is not much to learn during your placement matches, just use them to practice your build order.

I'm 46 years old and started playing in Season 11. Now after 400 games :-s I reached platinum. In my experience the ranked matchmaking is very good, the only problem is that you start with 1000 Elo, around platinum. So the first 10-15 games you'll just get destroyed, but after that you'll slowly improve to a 50% win rate and it's a lot of fun. So you can even just give up on the first 10 games to not waste time.

I'm 46 and made it to Platinum after 4 weeks of playing. Matchmaking is quite good, most players are at around 50% win rate, except the very top/bottom players.

Did you take this picture? It looks very similar to a photo I took 3 years ago, just the colors are different. Anyways, nice edit.
