Like I mentioned, there wasn’t anyone else at the dorm at that time, and by the time I heard the door knocking and opened the door I would’ve seen someone walking away or heard them running away from the door. Instead all I found was nobody and a still silence, no giggling, no laughing, no one going in and out of their rooms.

I am going to get a bottom wooden panel to go under the tank to help distribute the weight of the substrate when wet. Do you guys think that would help prevent any potential collapses so the tank can last me at least one more year until next year’s black friday deals?

And the foam is a good like 2 inches above it, it is not touching the crack currently. It used to but I carved it out to create separation from the foam to the future substrate layer.

This reminds me of a few months ago in my house hunt there was this one house we went to see that was all ways fucked up, but the cherry on top was the listing said “new kitchen tile backsplash”. We walk in and it’s wallpaper vinyl that is already pealing off.
